Thank you so much for volunteering your time to help raise money for the Poppy Appeal. The appeal simply could not happen without our amazing volunteers, and it is thanks to volunteers like you that the appeal is able to fund much needed support to the Armed Forces Community.
We ask you to add this special pin badge, to your online basket for free and we will pay for the postage. This badge is a token of our appreciation and hope that you feel proud to wear this through the appeals.
This year we are testing the process of sending these badges out to our collectors, and if this proves successful, next year we will continue sending them out to our collectors nationwide. As you are the first recipients of this special badge and we will not be issuing a different one annually, you will be a year ahead of other collectors receiving this. We would appreciate your discretion when it comes to announcing this on any media platform as we don't want other collectors to feel excluded, you are just a year ahead of them as part of this trial.
We will use the information you have provided to contact you about your volunteering and may ask for feedback on your experience of volunteering with the Legion, as well as finding out more about you. This will not affect the personal information the Royal British Legion may already hold about you and are processing for other purposes in other parts of the organisation, such as membership, Poppy Shop or in connection with donations.
We will not share your data and promise to keep your personal information safe and secure. We will hold your personal data for up to 12 months after you stop being a volunteer.
It is our expectation that you would declare the information requested below as the role may involve access to children, young people and/or adults at risk.
- You have never received an ‘unspent’ conviction/caution/reprimand or final warning for any criminal offence.
- You are not a person known to any Social Services department/statutory agency as being an actual or potential risk to Children or Adults at risk.
- You have never been the subject of disciplinary sanctions (from any charity or other organisation’s governing body) in relation to children.
- You are not, nor have ever been, on the sex offender’s register.
UK and BFPO Standard Delivery is FREE on orders £40 and over, or £4.50 on orders under £40. We despatch orders Monday - Friday, and orders are usually delivered within 3 - 5 working days.
European Delivery is £14.00, and orders are usually delivered within 5 working days.
Rest of World Delivery is £28.00, and orders are usually delivered within 14 working days.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with any item you ordered, just return it, in the original packaging if possible, within 30 days of the date of receipt and we will refund your money or send you a replacement – no questions asked.
