This distinctive poppy pin pays tribute to Allied Prisoners of War who endured captivity during the Second World War, including those whose long-awaited liberation did not come until 1946. 

Inspired by the remarkable story of The Great Escape, the design features three concentric silver, gold and silver-tone rims, representing the famous tunnels known as Tom, Dick and Harry. Painstakingly constructed by prisoners, these tunnels became part of one of the most daring escape attempts of the war. 

The red enamel poppy, centred with a dark crystal stone, serves as a symbol of remembrance, resilience and hope. A meaningful tribute to those who endured years of hardship in captivity, this pin honours their courage, determination and unwavering spirit.

All profits from the Prisoner of War Poppy Poppy Pin will go towards the Royal British Legion's work in supporting the Armed Forces community.
