The Second World War Armed Forces Pin is crafted from three reclaimed original historic metals used by the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force during the Second World War. See how its made
Designed to honour those who served and sacrificed in the Second World War, the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Shop has joined forces once again with TMB Art Metal to create a very special limited edition poppy pin commemorating the three Armed Forces that worked together to bring victory to Europe and Japan 75 years ago.
Made from original historic metals used during World War Two linked to the three services - a D-Day Spitfire, D-Day Royal Navy vessel and Army mess tins - each pin possesses the very essence of the battles that the brave men fought 75 years ago.
We have created 10,000 of these limited edition pins , each one comes with a commemorative certificate, dedicated to a brave soldier who served and sacrificed during the Second World War. Presented in a keepsake box, with a certificate of authentication.
The Second World War Armed Forces Pin is hand made in England. Due to the nature of recycling World War Two vintage metals, minor blemishes, flaws and inconsistencies may be present, but this only adds to their charm, individuality and character. Dark spots may be visible within the red enamel of some poppies - these are filings from the historic LCT 7074 steel.
Each piece in this exquisite collection is presented in a luxury gift box and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Please note we are unable to offer personalised certificates

OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY
Our military metals collection brings together real metals reclaimed from genuine military vehicles and equipment. It’s your chance to own a unique piece of our nation’s history, crafted into beautiful tributes to the brave men and women who served in World War 2.
The WW2 commemorative pin contains metal collected from each of the three branches of the Armed Forces. Aluminium comes from a Spitfire and steel has been taken from a D-Day Royal Navy landing craft. Finally, we have used a blend of metals that was originally part of the classic 1945 Army mess tin.
